BTV - MLA-TPortable magnetic loop antenna 160-40m

The MLA-T is a magnetic portable antenna for 160m, 80m and 40m.

In contrast to the MLA M here is a stepper motor in the housing for tuning. On the radio now remains only the controller and the antenna can be placed deducted. Also new is that the antenna can handle a power up to 100W. The power should not be more than 10W at a distance of less than 5m around the operator.

The stepper motor is powered directly through the coaxial cable, so no extra cable is required. On the controller are 3 LED for a simple and easy tuning. In addition, the stepper motor runs on each press on the controller slowly the first 3s to ensure accurate tuning.

The connection to the antenna has an N-jack. On controller 2 PL sockets are installed and a 2m long cable from the controller to the transceiver is included. Similarly, a power supply (12V / 0.8A) is included.

The size of the antenna is 82 x 105 x 22cm and a weight of 12kg. The four loops each have a diameter of 80cm.
